Jason Gillespie, Board Member

Jason is a professional engineer who has worked in the water industry for over 25 years.  In his current role as the Greenville office team leader at Weston & Sampson, he manages a group that works on water and wastewater projects for utility and municipal clients in upstate South Carolina.  He holds a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Georgia and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. 

Jason, his wife Sharon and sons Carter and William moved to Greenville in 2010 and instantly fell in love with the area. He enjoys spending time outdoors in upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina, and attending his kids various sporting events.  Over the last 15 years, he and his family have spent a lot of time in the area’s waterways. 

Jason is honored to be a part of the Friends of the Reedy River organization, and looking forward to seeing how his professional background and personal passions can overlap in helping protect and preserve the Reedy River and our quality of life in the Greenville area.
